1st time for everything
Well I am 22 months out and finally found out what the foamies and the elephant on the chest feeling is all about. My it was horrible. I of course was not paying attention to what I was eating...I think I didn't chew enough and also did pretzels mindlessly before dinner. Let me tell you my pouch does have a limit. What a yucky feeling never will I ever do that again.

Yes Bonnie feeling better. It took 22 months before I figured that one out for myself. You can bet I won't do it again ever. I never understood what people were talking about before because it was never experienced by me. I tried the walk around the neighborhood to fight it off but it didn't work. You live and learn in this process. What a lesson I wish I didn't learn.

Debbie, Welcome to the real world. 22 months? You are doing great!! I was 1 year out Wednrsday and Yes I rode my bike with my grandkids. Even raced my grandson around the block. I won because my bike was bigger and he kept looking back. He really had alot of laughs. His smiles made my day really great for my goal was to be able to ride with them. Now they come right in from school, get their homework done and say lets go MomMom. We are all a winner for the homework is done and they keep me going. We have to do a girls day soon. Have to get our feet ready to show.See you lighter. Joanne Hammond Obesity Help Chapter Leader
Debbie, Call Princess GIGI and let her know we need her. I feel I am living life now. I still have stressers in my life and bad days. I am still learning everyday. Unforunately I can eat what I want now so I have to depend on counting calories. How is your journaling going? I know this was helping you out alot. Take Care and you can give up the fleece blankets soon!!! See you lighter. Joanne Hammond Obesity Help Chapter Leader
Hiya Debbie,
I was just asking Elissa about you last night! Your ears must have been burning. I sympathize with the not paying attention, I did that not too long ago and OMG, I was like a new post-op. LOl I was foaming and spitting and driving. Trying to get home so I could find a place to I was on Old Baltimore Pike at the time with no place to pull over. Hubby was riding with me and laughing his butt off Ain't it great to know that lil' pouchie is still doing it's job and on duty even when we aren't! I'm hoping to make a PMRI soon, maybe we can do Panera after, I miss those lunches!

Nah ears weren't burning...or maybe they were the stomach hurt too much to feel it! LOL. Paneras sounds good. I do want to do the nail thingy again too! That was a lot of fun. Where is the Princess Gigee when you need her? There is a writing class at PMRI coming up in May....I am definitely signing up....It sounded like it was something I would love to do..The Woman to Woman session was great! Maybe I will see you there....Glad to know I am not the only one out there doing the mindless things! Off to the gym for some body abuse! LOL
