From Size 32 to Size 10 - Holy smokes!
What a transformation! If anyone had told me before the surgery that I'd be this size and feel this good, I'd have laughed at them. God is so good and I am so grateful for the weight loss. I owe my new life to Dr. Irgau and the staff at CHRIAS.
I am just so joyous and grateful for the weight loss. I never realized how many things in life I couldn't do at size 32 that I now do with ease at a size 10. Although I'm happily married, I can't deny that it's nice not to be "invisible" to men. It's fun to shop in "regular" stores. I love squeezing into small spaces and not getting stuck.
I feel very blessed that Dr. Irgau doesn't think I need any plastic surgery. My skin seems to "remember" being thin and has thankfully snapped back. At age 40, skin with some elasticity is a nice surprise!
The major changes have been my increased energy and my improved self-confidence. It's nice to feel good about me again. Thanks to all of the people here at ObesityHelp.com who gave me advice and took my fears seriously.
Blessings to you all!
Cassandra
Cassandra,
You are an inspiration. So glad that you will not need any additional surgery! Don't be a stranger! You are the "model" for success, so come to the meetings and celebrate with the rest of us. You have a great story to tell. And I don't think you ever have to worry about invisible to men ever again.
Your extremely proud friend,

Dear CAssandra,
WOW WOW WOW!!!! You must be so happy and I am glad that you are giving the glory to God and to the Doctors as well, because it takes both to help us in our success. But remember too that YOU have worked really hard to follow the rules and stay with the program. We are all glad that you are such a success. Thank God that you have wonderful "genes" that can now fit into a great pair of "jeans".
God bless, and I "amen" Rob's suggestion that you come to the support groups, because people need to hear of your success. But be sure to reintroduce yourself, and not assume that we all recognize you since you have changed on the outside so much. Just be sure that you never change on the inside (except what the doc's changed).
Have a great day,
Pastor Faye
Cassandra,
You should be so proud. I remember how apprehensive you were. Always questioning. Changing your mind, delaying your journey. Always doubting. And here you are, you look awesome and hope you feel healthy. This WLS is a hard decision to make choice and it seems to have been the right choice for you. I know it has been for me. You are a true success story.
What a blessing you have good skin elasticity. Some of us are more blessed than others. Can't wait to see you. Try to make it to Healthy Beginnings or Healthy Journey's meetings in the next 2 weeks. Make sure you wear a name tag. I probably won't recognize you.

Congratulations on your success Cassandra! Seeing our bodies change over time after WLS is really mind boggling and you are lucky that you don't need any plastic surgery. I remember those days not so long ago of buying the 30/32 size clothes and now to be able to shop in any store feels so great! I always wore black because they say it slenderizes but now I can buy more colorful clothes and even my co-workers notice the difference. I have so much excess skin and I am trying to exercise to tone up what I can but I think I need to start saving some money to get my body lift or I better write Oprah LOL! I hope to see you at the next meeting because I echo what the others have said about you being an inspiration to newbies and also to those who have been around a while. It is nice not to be invisible to men anymore too! Take care and hope to see you soon.
