Hi all! I'm 6 months out and was wondering how much water should I be able to drink? I'm wondering if I'm drinking too much too fast. I can generally put away 8 oz. in no time at all - probably 5-10 minutes. I fear stretching my pouch, so if I need to cut it back, let me know. I've come too far now to mess things up. Thanks in advance - you're all TOPS!!!!!

Hi Cathy, No stretching worries with fluids, those run straight through now since we don't have the pylori valve flap that regular stomachs have to hold things in...one reason why we're not supposed to drink when we eat, it washes the food out more quickly. So go for it and drink up! Linda

Cathy, Ditto with what Linda said...I wanted to add you need to make sure you are getting at least 64 oz of water/fluid a day. Don't go below that but you can always go above that. I do about 100 oz per day. More if needed.

Thanks Linda & Debbie!!!! I'm breathing much easier now knowing that! I normally get right around the 64 oz mark each day. I have a 33 oz water bottle, and I fill it twice and drink away! Thanks again!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!!!
