Exercise question...
Sunny,
Early out I devoted about 1/2 hour to walking. I could not do too much because of my starting weight. I was lucky preop if I could make it up a flight of stairs without passing out from shortness of breath. Its really a matter of what you feel comfortable doing. If you can only do 10 minutes and you become fatigue. Stop. You can build upon this...think of it as a foundation. You need a good solid one! Take it as slow as you have to just build on it....add a little each week. Good luck.

Sunny,
This is really an issue you need to discuss with your doctor, but it is very important to get started as early as possible. Also you need to reserve time to do exercise now, even if you can only do ten minutes worth. You still need to set aside a minimum of thirty minutes (your time) to do the exercise. Then start filling up all that time with exercise. If you start don't reserve the time now, you'll probably always be too busy and you'll short circuit your fundamental means of being successful. If you can reserve an hour daily, all the better. You need to work toward endurance and intensity. Schedule exercise like a job. You don't get paid if you don't show up.
Good luck and happy trails,

Hi Rob! Thanks for the reply! I was thinking about doing the schedule idea but thought maybe I was being a little anal! Right now I'm walking about a straight half hour and doing okay... I'm usually feeling tired by then so I guess I'll set out and hour and just keep working up to that point. Thanks for the help! sunny
