Carb Countdown...

What is this stuff I keep hearing about? Is it milk? I didnt' see it in the milk aisle but I'm also not really sure what I'm looking for! What's it taste like? I see a lot of recipes that use it! sunny

Hi Sunny, It's a low sugar milk product that comes in fat free, 2% and chocolate. I get it in the milk section at Walmart. Acme used to carry it but I haven't seen it in there lately. Very low calorie/low sugar. I use it all the time on cereal etc. Tastes like milk to me. Like everything else, some love it, some don't! I buy it all the time. Linda

Hey Rae, Sorry haven't been in touch lately. John has been keeping me busy and haven't been feeling all that great. I get the milk at Walmart. It has protein in it too. It is called Hood Carb Countdown. It is in a green box..the white milk is. Kathy

Sunny, I use carb countdown all the time. Walmart has it in the milk section. Less sugar then other milk. Very good. I use this at my support group too for sampling protein shakes. I love it! I buy the chocolate all the time. Like Linda said, for some reason ACME took it off the shelf, BUT it has returned......if i'm not mistaken, ACME has them on sale right now too......at least they did last week. The cartons are GREEN for fat free, BLUE for 2% and of course BROWN for chocolate. Hope this helps! -Joe-
