Hi All!! I read an article on WebMD recently about the treatment of hair loss in women. One of the potential causes of hair loss according to this article is iron deficiency. Many post-ops have iron deficiencies, so this may be a leading cause. The article goes on to say that the deficiency may be so slight you barely notice it, but it can play a role in female hair loss. It recommends adding more iron-rich foods to our diets - like broccoli or brewer's yeast may help reverse the loss. It also cites B12 deficiencies as a cause of hair loss too. Here's the link to the article if you're interested in reading more. http://www.webmd.com/content/Article/78/95829.htm Hopefully, the info will be of help to some of us who are frantic over the hair loss we're experiencing. Have a good afternoon everyone!!!! Cathy

Hmmm so it isn't the protein? I am trying to get in the protein and just can't. I can't wait till the pureed stage is over... Kathy
