Saying goodbye to my hair!!!!!

This is a very upsetting day for me. My hair is in awful shape due to the surgery. I know that this is something that comes with it. It is fried. I have done everything in the world to help it. And for those who know me, I am very picky about how my hair looks!!!!! It is medium length at this time but after 7:30pm tonight, I will have short hair again. I used to have short hair all the time before surgery so I know it will look alright. It is just the point though. My hair stylist told me that I had to get the dead hair cut off before it goes to the root. So, to look at the bright side, hair grows back. So, I will have to start all over again. Julie

Oh Julie! I'm sorry to hear you're going to have to cut your hair again. I know you've been trying to grow it out. You're right it's good to know that it does come back but also I think you look really great with the short hair. sunny

I remember when I went to the Hair Cuttery in Rehoboth and told my stylist to chop it all off. She didn't want to but I was so tired of it. My hair was falling out by the wads~~now I keep it short and its okay. Took awhile to get used to but its growing better and thicker now. When she cut it, I looked and felt like a new person! I'm moving back to Delaware this weekend... we are in ATL now but I miss being up north. Just curious... and in need of finding another bariatric dr... who is yours??? I had my surgery done in Seaford in 1998~~but I hear he moved to MD and his old practice doesn't do it anymore. I am having so many problems... and hope I can find someone once we get settled.
