Hi! I have a weird question...I know you can use peanut butter as a good protein source but I was wondering how people were eating it...just off a spoon? I used to love to eat it this way but am worried it will get "stuck"? Any info would be really appreciated! sunny

Hey Sunny 1...thanks for the info on the actigall. My daughter is picking me up that V8 stuff so I can take my pill. How much did you have to use of the V* 30ccs? As for Peanut butter are we even supposed to have that this early after post op? I am not touching it till my pureed stage is over. How are you making out with the pureed by the way? Kathy

I ate with the little goldfish crackers and by itself and I had no trouble. Christie

PB and I are very good friends....I eat it on graham crackers, bananas, pancakes, rye toast. I was so desparate for it my first few months I even tried it in cream of wheat....I suggest you don't go that route it wasn't all that good! I like to have fruit with it. That way the juice of the fruit helps with the stuck feeling. Debbie

Debbie! I guess you and PB are VERY good friends if you even had it on rye toast! I'm still in the pureed stage but these are all very good suggestions..I tried it with the banana and it was very yummy (and went down easily)...I can't wait to try it on a pancake! Thanks! sunny

I'm six months out and still have problems eating PB. I get the worst indigestion when I eat PB, no matter how I eat it. Yet, I can eat peanuts with no problem. Just be careful.

Sunny, Have you tried the Skinny Monkey Shake? I hear this is really good and full of protein. It goes like this: 1 scoop of Choc Unjury, 16oz skim milk,1 health wise banana shake mix, 1 TBS peanut butter, 1 pk splenda. Blend until smooth. Let me know if you try it. See you lighter. Joanne---this sounds sooo good! Where can you the banana shake mix? I don't think I've heard of it before? Thanks for all of your support!
