Some time back there was a post about a place in Wilmington or Newark that blends a GOOD tasting actigall. Can anyone recall that post or where this place is and what it is called? Thank you Kathy

I took Urso Forte which is pretty much the same thing. It was the nastiest stuff. I actually cried the first time I took it. I got used to it and it really didn't bother me after that. I guess I was just pretty emotional right after surgery. I'm just glad to be done with it! No more medicine! Yeah! I hope you find the place that makes that med taste better! Good luck! Lisa

Hi Kathy, I vaguely remember that post. Perhaps the person who made it will see this and respond. I crushed mine ind mixed it in spicy v-8 juice and it completely masked the taste for me. Linda

Kathy, I used Linda's spicy V8 recommendation, and had no problems with Actigall. It really seemed that any tomato based juice worked fine, seemed to neutralize the bitter taste. Joni 309/186/140

Hey Kathy! I can finally be of some use to YOU! In a weird way but still somewhat useful...Mary Ellen was the one telling us about the compounding pharm that did the good actigall and she said it was right around the corner from CHRIAS but I haven't figured it out yet. Down my way in Lewes there is a compound pharmacist called Cape Pharmacy. I haven't gotten it there but have just been doing the V8 tweak and haven't had any probs getting it down that way. If you are interested in the one I mentioned the phone # is 645-0090 and it's located on Savannah Road in the Village Shopping Center! Good Luck!
