Update

Hi everyone, I had my surgery yesterday and everything went ok. They checked the sample but unfortunately didn'tt get a difinitive answer yet as to malignancy. I will have to wait for the lab results. Too bad too, they were really hoping to find out for sure yesterday. They tell me it's small and not particularly aggressive looking, however there are alot of dividing cells which makes them suspicious. Either way, I am looking at more surgery to remove it. More extensive if it is malignant. General anesthesia was much easier on me this time than it usually is, I'm very thankful for that. I'm supposed to stay off of it and keep the leg elevated for 72 hours. When I do hobble around it's on crutches so I'm doing ok there. I have an awesome doc looking after me and a supportive family and tons of supportive friends! Thanks to you all for all your words of encouragement during what has been a really tough time in my life. Hopefully I will know more by Monday. Oh, one funny side note to surgery. Last night my ribs were hurting, kind of sore. I was on my stomach for the procedure and on the table for over an hour.....bones get sore! lol I told them to be glad they weren't rolling me over 2 years ago, it would have been much harder Thanks everyone, it is so appreciated!
