Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning Delaware I was up early so I thought I would start a roll call and see what everyone else was up to today. I am starting a new job today. Well, I don't have to leave my house but I am going to be watching a 1 year old little girl 3 days a week now and today is her first day. She has come over twice to ease the transition and she seems sweet. As for my wls situation. I have been seeing a dr in Salisbury (decided to go there because they accept my insurance...long story). Anyway, I love this surgeon, he's great. He has been teaching me how to eat the right way and I have already lost 8.5 lbs...yay me. Apparently even when I thought I was eating "healthy" I was not. I am now waiting on an insurance approval...praying for a positive response!!! If they come through for me, my lapband surgery may be in a month. I go to see the surgeon again tomorrow so I will let you all know what I find out. Sorry for the long roll call post....Please write in and say hello Robyn

Morning Robyn. I've already had my labs done this am. Lab Corps comes to your home. I'm on coumadin for blood clots because of the bi-lateral knee surgery. Doing some packing for my trip to Florida tomorrrow. Going to see Mickey for a week. Rented a scooter to get around the parks on. I plan on doing all the rides I can while I'm there. I don't want to miss anything. So I'll be off my PC til March 3rd. Try to have a good week everyone. I'll miss you all. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Have a safe trip and enjoy the heat...we have booked vacation for the end of April....Vancouver Island and us perfect together. I really think I will look seriously at the job situation out there and what the homes go for. This will be our 3rd trip to the area. I must like it huh! Get your photo done at the Mickey Mouse sites at the park...they will post them on the web for 30 days...Make sure you get a shot with the scooter for us to see! See ya when you get back

Hello Robyn, A bit on the nervous side here. Surgical biopsy today at 2:00 PM UGH, not looking forward to it but however it must be done. Hopefully soon I will have some good news that I am in the clear as far as diagnosis goes and I can get on with life! Congrats on the 8.5 pound lss, not an easy task for sure! I bet you lose 8 more today keeping up with a little one Linda
