Well, I'll be!!!
Hi Everyone,
At the PMRI meeing today I think my anemia problem was solved. Did you know that you shouldn't take your vits and minerals with decaf or regular coffee? I've been diagnosed with anemia and always take my meds with decaf coffee but it's not the caffine that interfers it's an acid found in all coffee!! I thought I was doing everything I could for myself but Danielle, the PMRI nutritionist gave us TONS of information today.
You can teach an old dog new tricks!!
It was great seeing so many people at the meeting and catching up on everyone's lives.
Have a great weekend.
Love, Kathleen
Kathleen,
I am sorry I missed the meeting today but I'm glad it was informative. I think that PMRI is doing an excellent job of providing new topics and information. Hope that I can get some of the materials.
I put a high priority on attending support meetings throughout the month because I do not think you can be successful on this journey without the constant reinforcement. Having said that, today I had a pretty good excuse. I ran my first 5k race in Reading, PA. for Juvenile Diabetes this morning. I finished in forty minutes. It was so cold that I had to keep moving. My employer is going to be so upset because they pledged $100 for showing up, $100 for finishing the race, $100 for finishing under an hour, and $100 for running if it snowed. Since we had snow flurries up there this morning I guess they need to pay up. My feet, knees, legs, stomach, and neck are all killing me now. Next is...
Your bud,
Rob
