Just a reminder: Tuesday meeting

Hello everyone, Just a short reminder that "Healthy Journey" support group will be meeting on Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm at Victory Christian Fellowship Church, 100 Wilton Blvd. New Castle, DE. This meeting is held on the third Tuesday of every month. Come and join with us this week. The topic is "The Heart: both physical and emotional". This is in honor of this month being Heart Healthy Month. We hope you will also come and see who gets the Monthly "STAR AWARD". Last month was our first meeting and the award went to Elissa Hart, who truly is a star on these boards. She keeps us all straight and informed as to what is happening. Her words of encouragement and exhortation are always uplifting. This month Elissa will "Pass the award" onto some well deserving individual who has helped, inspired and encouraged her in this Healthy Journey. Hope to see you all, God bless, Pastor Faye

Is this a support group for only Post-Ops? I am in the "waiting" phase and live in Smyrna. I am looking for a support group to help me through the journey! Thank you~ Shannon

Shannon, I believe this meeting is for everyone. A friend of mine, Esther, started this group and I can't imagine her excluding anyone. I am going, it will be my first meeting ever and I am 2 weeks post op. Hope to see you there. I'll be the extremely tall woman there. Jennifer

The meeting is for anyone and everyone, although most of the support groups that I am aware of will primarily address subjects for those individuals who are post op. But I am sure that you will gain something from the meeting and meet others who will encourage you along your journey to health. Hope to see you there. God bless, Pastor Faye
