Hope someone will learn something from my stupidity. Even though I KNOW Better, I went to sleep with the heating pad last night because of plurisy pain I have been dealing with. Well, this morning I awoke with several blisters on my arm (second depree burns). I had the heating pad on low, with a cover on it and I had flannel PJ's on, but I still got burnt. Please learn from my mistake. It really hurts and could have been much worse. Be safe in the snow, don't drive unless you have too. Enjoy some hot cocoa with extra protein, of course and think warm thoughts. Ellen

So sorry to hear that Ellen. I hope it gets better. I know burns like that hurt the most it seems. Do you really think we will get that much snow? latest I heard on the 10 o'clock news was anywhere from 7-14 to sum it up really. Christie

Poor baby! Please be more careful in the future. I am one of the worse for sleeping with a heating pad. I really didn't believe one could get burned if it was on low. Thanks for educating me. Sorry it had to be so painful for you. Big Hug, Rosa

I did that a few years back on my back....I understand your pain and let me tell you I haven't slept with another heating pad again. I did a towel wrapped around it and still blistered. Thanks to Kathleen I have my cocoa ready! Bring it own...I got a pair of snow boots for Christmas that I am dying to wear! Debbie
