Support... We have many ways of getting support. Some of us have spouses, some have groups, some have boards. We use it to help get us what we need and as often as we feel it is needed. Some need more than others. I fall into that category. Things have been cloudy for me but I do see the sun. And S is for Sun!!!! I am really proud that I did not turn to eating to get through this. Its nice to know I can journal my negativity in another manner. Writing has helped me alot and so does exercise. Your mental state becomes clearer and more focused when you see it in black and white and know someone else may read it. You become selective with what you want to put out but being selective allows you the flexibility to decide what is important for you to hold onto and what you can let go. I am going to start writing up my game plan for dealing with my Failcess issues (Failure and Success as one) Mary J. Blige move over!!! I can make up words too! Once I have the plan in place I will post it on my profile...Help and reminders are always good to have. I have a great bunch of supporters out there and very glad you all are here for me. Thanks for all your input!!

S is for surprise. That is what this journey has been for me. I have meet so many nice people who have been there for me through all the ups and downs and I have been surprised at the ones I thought would be there that are not! Oh well...if life wasn't full of surprises, we would be bored. (((Hugs all around))) Ellen

S is for strength, I think it takes a lot of strength to go through this surgery. Knowing the steps that I am in at this point, I couldn't do it without my inner strength. Thanks for starting this post Debbie, it is a good way to help us remember and show others what we are going through. Deanna

SUCCESS.........everyone that takes this journey is a success regardless of where they are at this moment, regardless of whether you're at goal or still struggling. Success is continuing on this roller coaster ride to fight for your health, your self-worth, your self-esteem, etc., even though there are times that you just want to jump off. The only failure is when you stop trying! Karen Ventresca

S is Self. Success, strength, strategy, support, surprise & self. WE need all these traits to hurdle this lifelong journey. So, suck it up and get your butt in gear. You're going to Disney. LOL ((HUGS)) Elissa

if this journey was easy and you never had failures we would not be here......failures along a road of success is how we make it happen.....we fail, we learn...we overcome....it is strength in the knowledge of our weaknesses.....that we find true success....when you know the enemy it is much easier to fight the good battle. hold onto the successes that you have made happen.....learn about you when you feel you have failed....like you said...create a plan of success then live it! no one is perfect in this journey we are only as good as our best day....all you can ask for is being the best you can be in whatever the cir****tances you are in. when i met you i saw success and confidence in your eyes....look in the mirror and see it..sometimes we need to find that determination and belief we had the day we walked into our first consul...remember that excitement you had...that true belief your life was about to change...get that fire back and everything else will just fall into place. you are an awesome person that i was happy to meet and i look to you for support as well i will try to be there for you in your cloudy moments. i think when we are in those times we need to renergize our excitement about where we are and where we came from.
