MONDAY ROLL CALL

Ok, I will do roll call no reason to, and no reason not to. I will just start answering myself. How is everyone? WAS EVERYONE HAPPY OR MAD WITH THE SUPERBOWL YESTERDAY?????????? My mom was HAPPY she has been a Steelers fan for as long as I can remember. Today is back to work and school. Well my kids don't have school today but I have to take the youngest to the dr. He is not feeling well, he also has a sore throat and dripping in the back of the throat. He is my sinuses, allergy, asthma child and with this weather being cold one day warm the next does not help him. I will be having a new face on here soon. Well enough of the HOPE TO HEAR FROM ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christie

Hi everyone! I'm sitting here at work eating my lunch and playing on the computer for a few minutes. I hope everyone is having a great Monday. I watched a little of the Superbowl but really didn't have a preference of who won. Christie, I hope your son feels better. You are right, this weather sure doesn't help! Take care! Lisa

At work. Went skiing yesterday of course. Sloppy, mashed potato snow. Thighs are killing me today but I'm starting to see some musche definition under the extra skin. They're not as "lumpy" now. Slow day. go to hematologist this afternoon to see about getting my iron levels up to par. Going to the meeting tonight.

Dineen what hematologist do you see? Do you like their office? I see Dr. Blatt and I am looking to change because I think I need the change so to speak. Christie

I saw Dr. Falchuck. He's over at the Medical Arts Pavillion and on Faulk Road. He's in with Dr. Sammi's practice. He was very nice but was almost 1 hour late seeing me. I am staying on the program that I'm on now (1 160mg SlowFE 2x a day). I will go back in a month and have another set of labs done along with a stool sample to rule out anything else other than heavy periods & the malabsorption. My iron saturation is at an 8 right now. It was at 13 before surgery. If my saturation numbers do not come up then we will talk about getting an iron infusion. I have always had low iron. I had to take iron supplements when I was in High School and probably should've been taking them all along but didn't. There was several times prior to my surgery where I couldn't give blood because my hemoglobin was messed up so none of this was a surprise to me. But I'm getting a handle on this now before I become anemic which is good.

Hi Christie I just got home from work. Had a so-so day. But then again, Mondays are usually like that. Wanted to answer the roll call and hope that everyone had a good day. Has anyone heard from Bonnie Miller or her daughter?? Bonnie S.

Bonnie I have not heard from them and obviously no one else because in some of my roll calls, I have asked about them.

hi christie we are doing ok we just have not been posting that much no one seems to post back to us like they used to but we are doing ok sorry for making you or anyone else worry about us i have been slowing down on my weight loss but my mom is doing good she is under 300 already and i am not there yet so i am trying my best your friend vickie

Hi Vickie, I understand what you are saying about people not posting. That is what I said on some posts back. I am glad that you all are doing ok. I was worried about you both. How is your mom with all the problems that she has been having? Hope to hear from you soon. Christie

Vickie, can you get your mom to come to the next Saturday meeting? I've got a bunch of stuff in my truck for her that I've been carrying around for the past 2 months! Between work, exercise, school, & my daughter's schedule, and going away every weekend, it's been impossible for me to get down there to drop it off. I've brought it to every meeting since December but she hasn't made it to any.
