Gigee, WOW!! Freaking normal. You should be so proud. Carnegie Hall, How awesome is that girl. WOW. You are my new princess hero. Size 16 dress, expensive, nothing but the best for the princess. GO Gigee!!!! Now if we can catch the right frog for you. MMMMMM. I gladly have gone from a BMI of 66.6 super obese to 34.7 obese. From a size 30 to a 12. Finally on Monday I broke the 200 lb mark on my scale. Today I am at 195. Wow I didn't know that bilateral knee replacement would help my scale go down. I tried to get the surgeon to add an extension to my knees, but he said it'd look funny to have stretched out knees. It would have pumped up the BMI numbers to be a little taller. I'm only 5'3". I envy you tall princesses. If I never loose another pound I know I'm a princess too. Will I ever get to normal, I dunno. You and Deb are the best. See you both soon. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hi Gigee, Congratulations on your weight loss and your Carnegie Hall gig! I understand the feelings of being in a plateau because I too was in one but I think that getting in more protein, drinking lots of water and exercising everyday has finally gotten me out of my slump. Where did you get your scale because I'd like one? I was looking for one that measures body fat too but I'm sure that might be pretty expensive. We have come a long way since this time last year because I too wore a 30/32 post op. I think we should all be proud of ourselves and continue to take good care of ourselves because for so long most of us have been caregivers to others and have neglected ourselves but now we are always looking for ways to improve our health and we still help each other by encouragement . Take care of yourself and hope to see some of your pics in that fine dress! Prycey Lady AKA Carol Pryce RNY 2/2/05
