I GOT A DATE...............
Yay!!!! Congrats!!!
The following is not just for Deanna, I give this to all pre-ops.
Remember to pay attention closely in the Lifeskills classes. Keep all your handouts in a binder or something handy. You will definately be referring back to them after surgery (at least I did). This is not a cure-all. This is not easy. The more lifestyle changes you can make pre-op the better your recovery period will go. The focus is now on YOU! Identify your eating issues and your trigger foods now, and deal with them now. If you can't deal with them on your own, get professional help. Get in an exercise program now. The better shape you are in before surgery, the easier your recovery will be after. And most of all STICK WITH IT!!! This is the rest of your life! Ladies, prepare yourself for the hormonal changes that will happen. Hormones are stored in fat, when fat is burned off, the hormones are released into your system. I get all teary and choked up listening to a radio commercial! LOL Luckily this is temporary.
Good Luck!
