Janet Jackson playing very loudly in the head right now....Gotta stop wearing the head gear when I exercise! Mental note to self...turn it down!!! Well on a serious note...what have you done for yourself lately. How much time are you taking for you? Do you feel better when you do this or guilty? Here I go..Since I was here first I will take the plunge! I have increased my me time at the gym. I take way too long there but its something I find that is good for me and I am glad I do it. I don't feel guilty for it and really glad. I know 19 mos ago doing something for me would have been out of the question. Its funny how time change make nice changes huh! Okay what about YOU??? Hey Deb, missed you & Tim tonite at Tom's mtg in Aston. Huge thanks to Rob, he came to rescue me out of the house tonite. I also missed the gym. No choice right now though. I have been taking the time to recoup from my bi-lateral knee surgery. It was 2 wks today. I have 4 more weeks to go of NO POOL, & NO WEIGHTS & NO DRIVING. I really miss the exercise. Thank God for the PT right now. It really makes my legs burn, but the therapist is really challenging me. And the best news is I GOT MY STAPLES OUT TODAY. OMG was I ready to do the happy dance . Those buggers were getting on my last nerves. I am starting to wean off the pain meds. I am not a fan of that fuzzy warm feeling that they give you. I hate not being able to focus my eyes either. Okay I'm starting to wind down. TT to you all later. ((HUGS)) Elissa

What have I done for me lately............................ SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, YEAH!!!!! I got some really cute pants really cheap at Kmart last week. I didn't try them on (didn't have the time) so I bought my usual size 16. Got them home, tried them on TOO BIG!!!! Took them back to exchange them a few days later for size 14s. Got me a refund!!! They were marked down even more! 1 pair of black velvet jeans $15, 1 pair of cords $8, 1 pair of canvas jeans $9! A cute off-white fleece pullover $8, and a down ski vest $20. Rodger and I have been skiing EVERY weekend. Last weekend we went up to Scranton PA and skied Montage. We stayed at the Hampton Inn about a mile from the slopes. We did all the double black diamond runs! Fast, aggressive, lots of adrenaline!!!!!!!! The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub. Can I just say how fantastic that feels after an entire day of skiing!!!!!! We'll be back at Camelback this Saturday! Anyone interested? Seriously if anyone is interested in skiing with us, just contact me!

This is a good one Debbie Well lets see, first of all I have been in a idle position for months now! I haven't lost any weight, so tuesday I decided to start walking at work again. I uped my water intake. Last weekend I went snow tubing had a blast!!! Dee, we went to Big Boulder, and I managed to keep very warm, of course it was about 60 degrees outside! I love to shop for myself too, I haven't latley but the last time I went I got into size 14's jeans. I am ready for manacures, pedacures and a trip to the hairdressers! Oh how I love to be pampered now!!!

Hi Debbie, Well lately I have been pushing myself to exercise more. I try to go to the gym everyday at lunchtime and I really enjoy it! I try to do 30 minutes on the exercise bike and about 10 minutes strength training at the Y here in Dover. I went to Lane Bryant and tried on a size 14/16 shirt and it fit and also tried on a pair of 17/18 jeans which fit me. It has been a year today since my surgery and although I've had some bumps in the road I would never change a thing. This surgery has brought me improved health and some of the nicest friends a girl could ever ask for. Take care until we see one another again. Prycey Lady RNY 2/2/06
