PMRI not scheduling

I tried to call PMRI to get started, so I can schedule surgery. But they said they are not scheduling anyone and I need to call the surgeon. I called DR. Wynn's office and they referred me to St. Francis. Does anyone know anything about this. I was hoping to have surgery at Christiana.

NO I hadn't heard anything about this. I will definately keep my ears open though!!! I know a couple of people who went to St. Francis and they liked it just fine. It's actually cheaper then Christiana. I had to pay $1200 up front to have my surgery at Christiana, It's about 1/2 that for St. Francis. Wow I wonder what's going on?

Well I know that starting in March all surgeries are going to be done at St. Francis. Christiana didn't renew the docs contracts. It was something about the nurse to patient ratio was a problem at Christiana. I haven't heard any complaints about St. Francis, and it probably is a little better there since you are in the ICU and the nurses have less patients. But I don't know why there would be a big change in getting started with the process..... April

I had my surgery (lap-band) done at St. Francis and all staff are absolutely wonderful.

I wonder what happened. Didn't Christiana have a whole wing dedicated to gastric bypass?
