NEED a PCP in Delaware/MD area

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good family doctor who is WLS friendly. My regular doctor retired and transferred my files to a new doctor. My PCP is not to up on WLS and I dont feel that he is supporting my decision although he said he would write a letter for me. I need a doctor who is familiar with WLS for aftercare since this is going to be a life change but I seriously am looking for a good family doctor. I need one for the rest of my family too. I live in MD but dont mind if the doctor is in Delaware by Christiana. Thanks!!!

Hi sharon.... I live in Milford, Delaware and I have a great, wonderful, caring, excellent pcp. However, she is located in Lewes, Delaware. I dont know if that is too far to go or not. She is located on Rt. 1. Her practice is called Clinic By The Sea and her name is Dr. Zeina Jeha. She is a obesity specialist and just the nicest and most understanding person. Her phone number is 302-644-0999. She really is worth the trip and because she is an obesity specialist, she knows what she is talking about and understands the whole process and why you want to do it. She is 100% supportive, yet never pushy. She recommended me to CHRIAS in Newark with Dr. Irgau and Dr. Wynn. .....shaughnessy

Man that would be awesome if she lived closer but Lewis is like an hour and a half from me. I live in Elkton. I would like to find someone who not over a half hour to get to. I'll keep looking but I cant waste to much time. Thanks!!!

Sharon , I live in Earleville (right below Chesapeake City). My family doctor is Bruce Obenshain, he is in Cecilton. His receptionist had the surgery and he had me look into it. Unfortunately, my insurance at the time would not cover, but he is very weight loss surgery friendly.
