Elissa Update

Hi all, Elissa called me today and let me tell you, she sounds fabulous! She thinks she will be rehabing for another week, perhaps less. She is getting her protein and says she is in minimal pain. Of course I expected nothing LESS from her...she is definitely the queen of making lemonade when given lemons....lemonade with added protein no less yay Elissa! Linda

Hi Linda! What happened to Elissa? I just found out from Rob on Saturday (at PMRI) that Nicki was also in the hospital and today I found out that Shae was also in the hospital recently. What's happening?!? This is all very scary! Please tell Elissa that's she's in my thoughts and prayers. Cassandra

Cassandra, Elissas hospital stay has nothing to do with her WLS. She had her knees replaced and is doing exceptionally well. I didn't know about Shae being in the hospital. I pray all is well with her. Hugs, Tammy

Great seeing you on Saturday stranger! You look fab!!! I got a message from her yesterday but I was out till the wee hours of the night so I figure I will call her this week between gym times....Thanks for the update! Debbie

Thanks Linda, I was hopping on to post, and saw you had already picked up the ball I dropped. Doesn't she sound absolutely incredible??? I was swamped this weekend and by the time I made it in last night, I simply melted into bed. We had the funeral for our friend on Saturday, and then had an event on Sunday which I was in charge of. Saturday after the funeral and time with the family the rest of the night was spent putting together the last minute details and decorating we finally got to bed around 3:30 am. Then Sunday we had Church and then our event. After the clean-up and etc. I didn't get home until about 10:00 or 11:00 last night. I was exhausted both emotionally and physically ... BUT I would have never been able to pull off such a schedule just a couple of short years ago.

Wow...I need to start posting again!! Linda I sure miss seeing you around..how the heck are you???? Everyone is looking so great! I need to update my profile and pictures..I just got approved for my tummy tuck after 3 appeals..trust me the appeals are worth it! I'm going to make here on the board more..I need the support so I don't fall back into old habits! Miss ya'll! Kimberly
