Update on Elissa!

I just spoke with her and she is doing well, quite well!!! She sends "Hello" to everyone and thanks you all for all the support. They removed the drains this morning and will be removing the epidural today sometime, so she expects to be up and at it soon. She told me how many stiches she has in each knee, but I don't remember exactly how many she said ... I think it was something like 26 per leg? She is eating well, and pushing her protein. She also enjoyed her visit with Debbie and Tim. (You guys are great BTW). She was in a room with a screamer and was not getting rest, so they moved her yesterday to share a room with another RNY patient who is two years out. How cool is that? However, they will be moving her again today. Not sure of the new room number just yet. But she is finally getting some much needed rest. Will post information as I get it.
