What does C stand for....

Hey Deb, C for me is Caring for myself. Before I lost the weight I put myself last and didn't think I was worthy of eating well. I still have problems in this area but I'm trying really hard to make this a way of life for me. I loved the other C's too! Love, Kathleen

Kathleen, Caring about ourselves....what a good one! We say the words but do we really do it? This is a C we constantly have to reinforce to ourselves! We need to care about us!!! It so helps with this journey. Another good response here.... Debbie

For me - it's Control. I had lost control of my life, but have received a chance to regain it, and with the help of all my friends here, my doctors and other support areas, I fully intend to keep control of my life and how I live it! Cathy

Cathy, I like control...it reminds me of a Janet Jackson song.....Yes we have to find the way to keep it because its always like water running through our fingers. But with the help and support we put in place we can do it right! Thanks for the response. Debbie

Hi Debbie, I love commitment, but you took it already. So I'll take C being community. Since my bypass surgery I have gained a whole community of support to help sustain, motivate, and encourage the journey. I've also picked up a community of gym rats that pester, prod and encourage me. I'll also take C for celebrate, because I can honestly say that every day since my surgery I have had a reason to party and howl about my new life. Rob
