Elissa is out of surgery and doing well!

Elissa is out of surgery and in the recovery unit. Charlie said she is doing well and they are expecting her in her room shortly. Debbie started a thread directly below to encourage Elissa, please support our support person!!! I will update here with any information I receive.

Hi Elissa Glad to hear that all went well during surgery. Remember to use your pain button. You may not believe me at this moment, but trust me, each step will get easier than the last one. When I go to the gym on Thursday, I'll walk the track in your honor. Rose

Thanks for the update. I am sure she will do well. She is one of the most positive people I have every met and she is always there for everyone else, so I am sure that she will get paid back double fold. Ellen

The phone rang a little earlier this evening and guess who was on the other end? YEP, that's right, Elissa! The girl had surgery this morning and she is calling me tonight!!! AMAZING! To top it all off ... she sounded absoultely WONDERFUL! So very upbeat! The doc said she is doing quite well. Would we expect any less out of our superhero??? I think the nurses have already nicknamed her Miss Determination!!! She sends her love and gratitude to everyone!

Tammy, Do you have a room number for her??? I can take a ride down tonight...I got three days in the gym so I can slack off one night. Thanks Debbie

Ummmm ... guess I am a little late with this information, but here goes ... Room 516-B (215.829.6636) I could not connect with her yesterday. I called her cell once, and her room once but she didn't answered. I didn't want to bug her too much because I felt she may have been resting ... but then when I laid down last night it hit me ... This girl does not rest ... she was likely walking the halls!!! You go girl!!! I figure all must be alright cause she and Charlie have all my numbers and she said she one of them would call if anything changed.
