Hello Everyone...

I haven't been around much lately and when I do come around I don't see a roll call so I just haven't been posting. I just wanted you all to know that I do read your posts and think of all of you often. The stomach flu ha**** our house hard so I have been busy tending to Chloe and now her father. As you know I have seriously been looking into the Lapband. I am attending a seminar in Salisbury this weekend and I hope to get a quick appt. In a way it stinks because I feel like I am starting all over again but they did say that some of the things I have already done will count. We will see. I am excited though, I really feel much more comfortable now that I have made this decision. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Robyn

Hang in there Robyn! I forget, why did you get denied again? Your insurance covers lapband? BCBS didn't cover it, but I heard that this has changed as of June or July of last year.

Their reason for second denial was...The physician didn't call back. I have no idea who or what they are talking about. It is very frustrating but I am trying to look at it in a positive way. Yes, I called and lapbanding is on my policy although so is gastric bypass and you see how far I got with that... Robyn

Things happen for a reason...so its good that you are focused on looking at other options. Its hard to be in the waiting game but once that is over it goes so quickly that before you know it you are on the losing side. I am sure things will work out for you. Debbie
