I go in Thursday for my lap band and I told the doctors office I am NOT answering my phone for anyone on Wednesday (so they cannot cancel me!!!!) I am in hiding. I start my liquids AGAIN tomorrow. Got my jello made and I have to get my broth and stuff ready since I am working this time (last time, I was home for Christmas break, I work at school). I am getting excited, but not thinking much of it, after all, I was completely ready for it last time and no second thoughts and BAM, they dashed those thoughts right down the drain. I have gotten a little nervous on and off (which I didn't do last time), why is that.... Oh well; I am ready to get this show on the road. I have to be at St. Francis at 8:10 Thursday morning and surgery is at 10:10. Praying all goes smoothly as my daughter has an appointment in King of Prussia with her nutritionist at 1pm and I want hubby to be able to take her (she is a recovering anorexic).

Good luck to you with your surgery. I am sure you will do well. Remember to sip, sip, and more sip and walk as much as possible.....

Good Luck Patricia. I am sure you are going to do just great. Try not to be nervous although I know it is hard. I hope to join you on the other side someday myself. Robyn

Patricia, Keep your eye on your goals. Stay positive & try to focus on YOU for the next couple of days. Remember the chap stick and to walk, sip & breathe, over & over again. I'll be doing the same thing. I wish the knee surgery was behind me. Oh well. At least I don't have to deal with the clear liquids for the 2 days. Just can't eat after 8pm tomorrow night. Speedy recovery to you. By Thursday you will be on the looser's bench. Keeping it warm for you. Did we tell you that one of the side effects of the surgery is extreme cold. Get those warm fleece blankets ready. I'll trade that for the pounds any day. ((HUGS)) Elissa
