Done doesn't always mean done
Hello everyone,
I have been really bad about posting and updating. Once again I find myself online at this ungodly hour getting ready to leave for work and thought I'd make a quick post.
Most of you know I am almost 2 years out now ( WHERE did the time go?? ) My weight has been holding steady for months now with just a few small monthly fluctuations ( oh joy ) However the last 2 weeks or so I had been feeling really cranky....I mean SCARY cranky. Horrible mood, I couldn't stand anyone or anything. The smallest thing would set me off. I really felt like I visited crazyville for awhile. I couldn't even stand to be around me Normally I would have passed it off as a monster form of PMS, but the time was already over. ( sorry about TMI men ) I noticed my jeans were loose. Got on the scale and had dropped almost 10 pounds out of nowhere!
I had gotten so comfortable with myself that I had completely forgotten what havoc rapid weight loss can have on the body and mind. A river of estrogen with a fleet of fat cells sailing on them coursing through the body of a PMS'ing woman....now how's THAT for scary? LOL who needs a horror movie when you live with her?
I am facing a new challenge now. My left knee has been giving me a problem the last few months. I had an MRI done on Monday and got the results yesterday. Seems I am now on my way to see the orthopedic specialist. Oh well, I can handle anything 129 pounds lighter.
Hope this finds you all well and happy and doing the thing that makes you the happiest.

There you are my lil chick-a-dee!!! Been thinking about you!
So here is my question for you ... how did you lose that weight? *listening with undivided attention* I wanna play too!!!
Seriously, congratulations Linda! You have done awesome!!!
You mentioned Carla ... you are right, she does look gorgeous! Not sure you would even recognize her. As for me ... ummmm ... well, I look the same as ever. Still look chunky and not able to lose any more real weight and keep it off. UGH, but at the very least, I am not gaining and I am not where I was 2.5 yrs ago. Working real hard not to let it get the best of me and avoid eating all together. Ya know, another day, another head game! The emotional roller coaster truly is the hardest part of this whole process.
Well, it is so good to see you ... we need to get together for coffee sooner than later, perhaps "the" diner??? Give me a call sometime!
Linda,
Congrats on the 10lbs!!!! Your message couldn't have come at a better time. I've been really frustrated with my loss over the last 3 months. I've only lost 10lbs since my last visit with Dr Wynn in October, I've been at plateaus for weeks at a time. I stuck at 217 for weeks, then over the course of a few weeks went down to 202. I've been at 202 for about a month now and it's driving me crazy. I thought maybe I was done losing...but now you've given me hope. Thank you my friend!!!!

Linda, I have not had the privledge to meet you yet but let me tell you , your story really inspires me and gives me hope. I have lost 117 lbs since April and want so bad to lose 50 more before May, when I get a hernia repaired and a T/T. I feel this is an opertunity of a lifetime and I don't want to mess it up. See you lighter. Joanne
Linda,
It was great to see your post. And I believe you are right... Congratulatons on the 10 pounds. 10 pounds now is a lot of weight since you are a lot more fit now then 100+ pounds ago. I hope your knee improves. Our bodies can be such a pain.
It is also great to show that even two years out anyone can continue to lose weight. You must be looking phenom at this point. I know that I am still utterly amazed at how far everyone has come in the past two to three years. New bodies, faces, and attitudes.
Keep us posted.
Rob
