FWI - I think this could be a wonder drug for some of us posties! The very nature of how it works seems to fit our need almost perfectly. I was sick with the flu and felt horrid. As a matter of fact, I HURT terribly. Regular tylenol would not kick it for me. I went two days without sleep because of the pain in my body. Finally I got some Tylenol fast release caps and took them and within minutes, the pain started letting up. Truly it was like a miracle. I have taken tylenol since surgery, but it has not done much good. I think this was the first real time I had any real relief from any pain via a pain reliever since surgery. BTW - as a pre-op I took NSAIDs because tylenol didn't do much for me. Imagine my thrill when I found a tylenol that worked this well for me!!! I have since talked to several others who have found the same kind of dramatic difference and a couple who say they did not notice a big difference. Also, I have not talked to the docs about it ... so you may want to verify that they consider this drug safe for post-ops should you want to take it.

Thanks Tammy, I'm going to the Dr's on Thursday. I'll ask if I don't forget So far, knock on wood, and praise be to God, I haven't had the need for anything in the pain dept. I have a bottle of liquid tylenol on my shelf, just in case. Course I'll need serious drugs when I get my knees operated on next week. I hope they are the good ones. Elissa

E, Email me the information re your surgery (who, what, when, where and how) You know, all those noisy questions reporters ask! If Charlie is up for it, give him my phone number as a contact person here (if you don't already have someone picked out). My MIL is gettting her second kneee replaced next week also. Not likely you all will be roommates though ... I think you both will be in opposite hospitals. BTW - as good as I think this tylenol is ... I don't think it will kick the knee pain in the butt ... Yep, they will need to bring out the big guns for that one. Hugs!

Thanks Tammy, I have been using the eight hour fast relief for months now and that is all I use. I never questioned that it might not be safe because it was tylenol, and I just asummed that all tylenol was safe. I will be waiting to see what Elissa finds out when she goes to the Dr.'s Take care, Dana
