Great Product

Okay guys, here is another great find IMHO, so I thought I would share. http://www.primalspiritfoods.com/index.htm Meatless Jerky! Is is soooo good, I simply could not believe it. While it truly tastes like meat, it does not have the toughness that so many jerkys have. It is so soft and moist, and yet satisifies that need to chew. The flavor is out of this world. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the portability of it. If I had tried it with closed eyes, I would have guessed that it was in fact meat jerky. They have three different base products, one based on SOY, one on SEITAN, the last on SHIITAKE/ MUSHROOM. They have 6 flavors, HICKORY SMOKED, Texas BBQ, TERIYAKI, THAI PEANUT, HOT & SPICY and MESQUITE LIME. I have personally tried all flavors except for the Hot & Spicy. Have not had the chance just yet. I love everything so far, however, the Mesquite lime is my least favorite (it has pickle juice in the base sauce, and I am not a fan of pickles). But even still ... I do like it. My favorites are Teiyaki, Hickory Smoked and Texas BBQ. They are great eaten as is, but I have also cut them up and added them to my salads. If you call the company they are really helpful. I spoke with Sukie. She gave me a box of 24 1 oz strips (some of each flavor) to try them all for something like 24-25 dollars (I believe, but check to make sure) and that included shipping. I truly appreciated when the package arrived ... they had put them all in a one rate priority box and did not charge me a single cent over what they paid to ship it. I can not tell you the last time I have had a company do that for me lately. Seems sometimes they are making more on shipping than the products. Oh sigh! Anyway, this is a great product, that I felt worty of sharing. Just wanted to let you know I emailed this company about samples for my support group . They answered me the next day. Told me to call someone and samples are on their way. Such a nice company. Can't wait to try their product. See you lighter. Joanne

I was bowled over with how supportive and helpful they were when I spoke with them. Then when I recieved the package, to see that I was charged ONLY the shipping rate they paid ... well, that sold me on the company. But my first bite of the product sold me on the product! This is a company that I am glad to recommend. And even if someone finds out that this product is not something that works for them, I know that at the very least they are dealing with a company with integritity. Hope you like the samples!
