Rosa, I find it interesting that hardly any men ever respond to the posts on here, so i must be an exception to the rule. First and foremost, i can see where your coming from concerning your lifetime partner. I am the Pres. of a Big Mens support group, i have heard it all, even it was suggested that i was too thin to represent a group of guys that weighs in from 300lbs to 400lb or more. I stuck in their. The emotions your experiencing are normal, even for guys, yet most wont admit to it, we deal with the same things as most of your women do. I have had many set backs but i have to say i am one of the most positive thinkers i have come across. Or at least i think i am. I worried a little bit but hell when you been dealing with medical problems all your life, whats one more hurdle! Think positive, surround yourself with positive thinking people, if your friends, family and partner say they love you, take their word. you will realize who meant it after you have your surgery and start to lose, but now is not the time you should worry about anything more then surgery and recovery. The staff at the Chrias and PMRI are some of the best i have ever met, they are more like family then a doctor's office. They understand are extremely supportive.I have to say when i was 394, i never went out to dinner with friends, never wore a belt, never went to the movies, never went grocery shopping during the day, never got out of my car when their was drive thru, never ordered less then one pizza, never went to amusement parks, never danced at a nightclub, never got up from the dinner table until i was truly over filled. Now that all has changed, from a 48 waist to a 36. Life is just beginning for me. Now is the beginning of a new life for you. Keep your chin up, smile proudly. The new you is screaming to get out! From one "Family Member" to the Next. Sincerely, Kenn
