Good stuff and wows!
Okay, starting with my wowwie goodness...
I went to church on Sun night instead of in the morning, it was a LOT less crowded too. When I was walking in, the pastor tried to introduce himself to me, and when I mentioned I was heading to the ladies room he showed me where it was... I looked at him and said "Pastor Bo, don't you recognize me?" He gave me a funny look, like should I, and I said to him "I'm Rachel Mooney" his jaw hit the floor, he looked me up and down, then managed to pick up his lower jaw and say "wow" If my home scale is accurate, I've lost 80 lbs now! Pastor told me that I looked fantastic, couldn't believe it was me, etc... etc... etc... I was thrilled, I told him not recognizing me because I look like an entirely new and different person who is a young attractive woman is a good thing to me! Told him I took it as a compliment that he thought I looked so good and that he was in shock... it was the best wow to date!!!!
Now, the new years wowwie goodness...
I went to the church's singles group new years eve party, in a gawdy white shirt with orange and pink flowers on it... perfect for the hawaiian theme though. Anyway, I met a guy named Eric whom I have been emailing one liners with for a few weeks ever since he offered to help me move into my new apartment (the entire singles group was contacted about helping LOL) Well, we realized who each other were and started talking, 3 hours later it was midnight and we were wondering where the time went! Well, after going home I turned on the computer to put his screenname in before I forgot, and he was online. So we chatted for a little while... till 3 am... when my eyes got blurry. So, we then talked on the phone for a few minutes... until 6 am, when his phone went dead. He came over to help with some packing on Sunday, we went to church together, hung out with some other single friends after church, then came back to my place to watch a movie before he left... Monday he was busy with work, but we talked last night and decided that we're going to go on a real date on Friday night. I'm so looking forward to it! He's not a drop dead gorgeous kind of a guy, but he's smart, funny, fun, and honest... some wonderful qualities! I'm looking forward to getting to know him better... wish me luck!
