OKay, everyone, the Holidays are passing us by fast. Yeah you probably ate things you werent supposed to, admit it! I am sure you tried eating or drinking something you know you shouldnt have and then felt it almost immediately or the next day! Well, now that i have made most of you feel quilty. Its time to Get things rolling here for not only our 2nd Annual Gastric Bypass Picnic, but i am also Applying to ASBS Foundation to Host our own "Walk for Obesity 2006" Many of you came up to me at the Gastric Bypass Picnic and said you were interested in forming a committe for next Years Event, well i thought it would be a good idea that we combined the two into one huge event, but we need to meet as a group. I will be contacting PMRI to see if they are still interested in offering their facility for the Picnic and possibly the Start & Finish for the Walk, Also, i will be contacting the Surgeons office to see if they again will Sponsor us as well. Thier is a $500 non refundable deposit required in order to sponsor the walk if we are approved. So as soon as i start getting some feed back from those of you that are interested, perhaps we can meet at PMRI and hour after one of the support meetings.
