Question for women
Okay men, you've been warned, turn back now or suffer the consequences...
Ladies, I know the reason behind the never ending menstral cycle, that it's because we store our hormones in our fat and that they are being released quickly, etc... but how long much I have my period and feel depleted from it? I've been bleeding now with a one or two day break every 2 weeks for 2 months straight! I'm really starting to go a little bonkers here and I would LOVE to spend a little less money on pads and tampons, not to mention getting rid of the cramps and everything else that goes with this. It's been constant for 2 months, before that I'd have at least 5 days between 10 on, 5 off, it was better than this at least!
Okay, this is a combo vent and question, any info on when this might end would be appreciated!!!

Having the same problem. My diagnosis was that the uterine lining is receiving bad signals of when to release. Instead of all of the cells releasing at once, mine are just releasing whenever they want. I've had this problem for about 3 years now. Unfortunately Dr. Kobasa won't do a hysterectomy just at my request LOL. Even when I told him that I was done with it and I'd be willing to donate it to someone in need. I was told to hang in there and wait until the weight stabilizes then he'll take it from there. He gave me birth control pills and prenatal vitamins to get me back in synch once before. It does work. But come on! I had my tubes tied so I WOULDN'T have to take BC and prenatal vitamins!!!
I feel for you!
I had the problem when I was the heavier gal that I was. I had to take progestrone until period stopped. Then I would wait about 5 days and it would come on again....regulating the hormones since we are excreting sooo much estrogen. I bleed for 6 months before I went to gyn then...don't wait that long you will get weak real quick. Need to get more iron in your system right now since you have been bleeding alot. Bump up your intake....although contsipation will be a side affect of this then you will have to get stool softners for that...Don't you just hate being a woman? Its never simple for us. I would call your gyn ASAP and get set up for pills. It was great when I lost the weight I didn't have period for about 10 months...talk about sweet! Although when I got it...I was in so much pain. I found out the endometroisis that was burned out about 15 years ago is back....if I can only make it to menopause...At 45 do I have a chance? Next suggestion I would make...buy stock in the pad/tampon companies...with all of us gals that stock must be sky high.
