The last few day I have been in some pain, it feels like I am being squeezed from the sides too hard, I had open bypass on 8/25/05, shortly after my staples were removed in Sept i had this same pain when i layed on my side for too long. But since then I have not experienced any pain, but now (the last 3 days) it has been a constant dull pain, kinda between a cramp and beig squezed too hard, the pain is more on the right side. okie this is a bit confusing the pain is: on the left and right side, under the ribcage, butthe pain on the right radiiates around to my side , and some pain right in the dead center of where your stoamch would be (not the ouch) its just a dull pain, but intensives with walkng or activity. Any ideas, I hate to go the hospital for nothing serious. But i do need to go, i ahvent gotten my ID braclet , so i tell them No NSAIDS, what kinda tube can't i have ? anything else they need to know?? and should i have them or I call Dr. Peters (emergency line) or what to see what the hopital does first?? I was thinking of going last night, i havent tried any liquid tylenol, I had meds. Christina

I think at some point that it could be your gallbladder. Do you still have one? That sounds like my pain that I had. If you think it is bad enough go to the ER. You don't want it to be something major and neglect it. Keep us posted. Christie

Can it be related to your time of the month? Gallbladder does do something like this...I had a bad one before my surgery and didn't realize the pain was from this...I thought it was from broncitis I had...(my cough usually shakes up my insides bad) Please call your Dr and get to the hospital for follow up soon. If its serious you don't want to wait too long. If its not then you have peace of mind. Keep us posted. Debbie
