Hump Day Roll Call

We are getting down to the wire with shopping for the holidays..I am glad its almost over. I look around my house and see too many wrapped boxes. I don't have room for the tree. My niece is coming to stay with me this weekend. I haven't had her overnight in over a year so it should be fun. I do enjoy them. I told her Mom the only reason she is coming over is to snoop for her presents. We have lots of running to do this weekend. I think I will go to Michaels tonight for a few things....Perhaps I can get a gift done too! Enjoy the day everyone! Debbie

OMG, Christmas shopoping has not even been started. Not sure if I'll get it started. Nothing decorated yet either. Maybe I'll wait til next year. Just too overwhemling to get in this year. Baby Abigale was discharged from hospital last night. Can you believe, she is still so little, still under 4 lbs, and it went into single digits last night. I'm off to the gym this AM. Good morning all: Hope all stays warm today and does something good for yourself. I am at work and as usual taking an early break. I though I graced yesterday but actually was 1/2 lb lighter this a.m. Now that I think about it, it was mostly protein I ate. I have been on the run all week and have not even cooked a meal yet. Tonight I will cook for my poor husband. I did bring him a sub back from Pat's yesterday. You don't find them downstate. Does that count? I got a small salad there yesterday for lunch. It was so big. I hate to see the large. It must be a family size. I quess I am thinking thinner these days or maybe thinking with my brain because my stomach is too small. LOL!!! See all lighter. Joanne

Hi there, After work today I'm going to get my nails done and to deliver my one "outside the family" gift I have. Friends of mine (a family) have a situation where the mom is a homeschooler and the dad is on disability for the past year. Things are slim pickings and since I'm out of time for shopping, I'm giving them $100 for gifts for their 4 kids. I figured they need it more than my kids do. I just wi**** could be more. I have all the gifts at my house now, not to mention the things I'm ordering for the apartment (bedding for all of us, shower curtains with puppies for the kids' bathroom, etc...) I just need to wrap them and assemble a bike... not sure how I feel about that part yet LOL... I just don't know when I'm going to do it, the only time between now and then I have without children is next wednesday evening and they'll be at my house with daddy while i'm out doing who knows what with God only knows who! Friday night I am going to my company's Christmas party, I'm trying to figure out what to wear though because I'm freezing lately (losing rapidly and I am not handling it well... not to mention the period I've had for the past 3 weeks.) All the dresses I have are short sleeved, so I have no idea what I'm going to do yet. I'm sure I'll figure something out though, right? HUGS to all! Rachel

Hey Rachel, you should be about a 2x now right? Even though I've cleaned out my closet like 3 times, I'm still finding some of my bigger stuff mixed in with the clothes I had stored. I just found a pretty beige sweater the other day that's a 2x. Would you be interested?

Hi Dee! Yes, I'm definitely interested, I'm in the 1-2X range (depending on cut) now and am in desperate need of clothing in my size. I'm looking so sloppy for work it isn't funny. I still have shopping to do and lots of wrapping. I always get stressed out until I get everything done. Even though I try hard I always feel like I am wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve. I had to take Chloe for bloodwork this morning. She wasn't very happy and she had to be fasting which made it even worse. My mom and I took her out for pancakes afterwards though and that made her happy. Hope everyone is having a great day!!! Robyn

Hello Everyone, I am here, just been crazy busy here at work. Seems like when it got cold everyone decided they wanted to go some place warm and now not later. Looking forward to Christmas, I can't believe next weekend is Christmas. It is not possible, where did 2005 go. The good thing is I am off from Dec 22 to 27th. Finishing up my homework and mentally preparing myself for my final presentation at school tonight! Thanks to everyone who filled out those surveys I sent. I have my Christmas Party in Baltimore Friday. Looking forward to showing off my pretty tootsies! Rodger and I are going up to Camelback Saturday so he can pick up his season pass and do a little warm-up skiing. I just made our reservations to go to Lake Placid NY. 5 days 4 nights! 2 days of skiing at whiteface and a day to goof off in the olympic village and do the bobsled run. Chelsea whants to ice skate. Can't wait!
