2 days post op and a cold

Hello everyone! I am just 2 days post op and im not doing too bad. only one of my five {stab wounds} hurts and i can get off of the couch by my self now.

but wait just when i thought i was doing good, here comes the phlem..........

i have a cold. Everytime i cough my stomach hurts so bad. i brought diabetic cough syrup

and im getting plenty of rest

any other suggestions????

Congrads to you on your surgery. Keep sipping fluids and chicken broth will help with this cold too. Make sure you walk around also. Hope you get better soon but I know you will. Take care....

Welcome to the Looser's bench Naja. Walk, sip & breathe. Chicken soup and warm fleece blankets. I think the hospital drys us out too. I was sniffley and dry just going to visit the grandaughter the past month. Stay warm. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. ((HUGS)) Elissa
