accomplished a goal
Hello everyone. Its Jo's husband again. I have my own account now. Well, on with my news. I weighed myself this morning and I hit a goal. I have lost 30 lbs since Jo's surgery, which was exactly 2 months ago. For those who don't remember, I didn't have the surgery. I am only eating like my wife. I am so happy. I started out 255 lbs and was actually thinking about getting the surgery myself, but Jo had hers and I wanted to support her in this way. So I told her I would eat what she did. It worked for me.
So one of my goals is to lose 30 lbs. Well, on to my next goal, which is to be under 220. My ultimate goal is to get down to 185 lbs.
See you all soon.
William, Congradulations on your weight loss. It will be interesting to keep up with how you make out. I have lost and lost again and lost again and again and again and again. Always to gain it back plus more before surgery. Shoot!!! I should be a size 3 by now!!!! My husband has also lost 30 lbs since I had surgery and he didn't need to. I actually had the Dr. speak to my husband about the kind of support I needed and it was just the oppisite. I am all for anyone losing weight without surgery but please realize everyone can not lose weight and keep it off. To me Keeping it off long term is real sucess. Hope all works out for you both. See you lighter. Joanne
Good for you William. Congrats on the -30 lbs. I bet the 2 of you are both feeling better. How's Jo doing? Hope all is going well for her. My hubby has stayed the same. He is my food police. It's a good thing he hasn't gained on my overflow food. He has an awesome metabolisim. Wish he'd share it with the rest of us. Elissa
