Sunday Roll Call

Well we are off to the mall and I hope to finish up this shopping today. I do need to get hubby a few more things. The pic was picked out yesterday. I was looking at them and still seeing a fat chick. I wonder will I ever be okay with my size or will I always be in need of finding a skinnier me? I am not unhappy about lose I just keep looking to see when I will turn into Marilyn Monroe! Its funny how pics have always made me uncomfortable with my skin. I guess if I did them more often I would be more accepting. Well at least it is done right. I am dealing with it. I had a ball last night at the Christmas support party. So much food and such good friends. I am so glad I have gotten to know so many of you. Your journeys do inspire me to stay on track! This group in Delaware is the best! Well off to the mall for me! That was so much fun last night!!! Kim and I are headed to Plymouth Meeting for a luncheon with the WLS Phully Team Gatherings group. This is my first time meeting the Philly gang. I'll let you know how it goes. Then after we're headed down to KoP to the Malls for some shopping!!! Rodger is going to pull ou the chirstmas tree and arrange the living room so I can start putting it up tonight when Chelsea gets home.

Debbie, Sounds like you guys had a good time. Where was the party? I am at work today and working mobile so I have really got my exercize in. I have walked up and down these halls all day long. This is the first I have sat since 7a.m. This is the first time I have worked mobile since I had surgery. It was actually fun for I can walk and breath now at the same time. Don't have much planned for the evening. My brother-inlaw comes to dinner every Sunday so I will cook, clean out the fridge with all the left overs and get the grandkids ready to go back to school tomorrow. I am off but have to get bloodwork done and go to physical Theropy by 9 a.m. See all lighter. Joanne

Debbie, I laughed for so long and so hard as everyone was taking everyone else's gifts that my cheeks actually hurt me this morning. You tell that hubby of yours to stop reminding everyone where I had my gift hidden. Boy, I really wanted that soft throw!!! I agree that the DE group really is special. How often do you have women willing to strip so you could see their plastic surgery scars!! You all helped me so much cause mine is scheduled for Dec 16th and I am just starting to get really nervous. The support is just like nothing else I've ever known! I love you all so much! Well I am here, better late then never right. I stayed home from church today, and the boys and I went with my mother to Hometown Buffet for lunch.....(it was her birthday) the boys had a coupon for free so I only spent 7 something cause they had it down as breakfast time still. I did really good, felt fulllllllll...........but did not get sick.......last time I got sick from the corn. But then hubby came home from church and we went to pick out a puppy. So we will be getting a puppy next Sat. The lady is going to take her and get the shots....Other than that I am here now and I am tired. I did do reading for homework but back to school tomorrow. Now I remember why I liked staying home all the time. Christie

Hey Deb, Self image is tough. We beat ourselves up the most. There are times when I won't consider PS. Then there are others when I want to do it all from top to bottom. Saturday night was awesome. What can I say about good food and good friends. I laughed so hard my belly ached. Imagine no booze and willing to dance on tables. Next time we'll bring some wine. You guys are the best. Hey Deb, It was nice seeing everyone Saturday and you looked great! Everyone there is such an inspiration to me. Our self image is still stuck on who we used to be and I can attest to this myself. Yesterday I went out and brought some new bras and felt that I needed a size 44 C cup although I can wear an 18/20 size shirt. The cup was half full which was never a problem I've ever had before so now I have to go back to Wal-Mart to return them which I know I will dread! That gift card would have certainly come in handy! Hope to see you all again very soon. I'd like a group of us to get together for a Glamour Shot after the New Year. Would anyone who is interested please let me know so we can coordinate something? Carol, I had the left-overs last night from the party . Everyone loved yours. I did not have any meatballs Sat night, they were just too huge for me. Last night though I had a meatball and your soup/chili. Go**** was great. Now I'll need your recipe. Thanks for coming it is so good to see everyone. Elissa
