diet doctor - foulk road

Please some help. I have to find the name of the doctor I went to 22 years ago for weightloss (to put on my list) since it was the only time i went to a medical supervised diet. this diet doctor was on foulk road, i think in the lombary something. you would go into his office waiting room and just sit until the 'receptionist' came out to see who was there. then you went in, got weighed, got a shot of vitamins i think, got some diet pills, talk to him for like two seconds and followed a very strict diet. i lost 20# the month before my wedding and had to have my gown altered all the way around (couldn't get it zipped the month before). now i can't remember his name or anything....

Patricia, Sounds like the Dr. I went to back then. If so he was actually giving you shots of embomin fluid. Sorry I don't remember his name either.See you lighter. Joanne

I know who you are referring to, because I was right there with you, but I believe he no longer practices out of that office. He was big when the phen/fen craze was out. I think due to all of the law suits and the pulmonary edema, he probably decided to shut down the particular part of his practice. I am not sure, just my guess.

Dr's ?? name was Oscar Galvis. He still has Christiana Weight Loss Ctr in Newark. My friend Ellen and I went to him back in 1997. He was in an office complex on Foulk Rd, right behind Independance Mall. I took Phen/phen for about 3 months. The diet did not work for me. Then again I cheated. Thank God I never got any of the after effects or problems that some people got. Hope this helps. Elissa
