Got a Surgery Date!!!!

I met with Maryellen at St. Francis tonight. Went over lots of stuff. When I first talked to her, I had told her that Dr. Wynn and I had discussed the possiblity of me getting my surgery over Christmas break. She told me then that she only had the 29th open (this was back early in November)... so I kept saying that I was hoping to get surgery then. I hadn't heard for the doctors office (not sure how this all works). Tonight I found out, I am ON THE SCHEDULE FOR THE 29TH!!!!! Yipee!!!! I couldn't believe it. Only thing I haven't heard anything about is my insurance.... should I be worried or not. Should I look into this or not?

Congratulations Patricia!!!! The insurance approval usually comes right before the surgery. Unfortunately we all worry about insurance approval, and I didn't get mine until the day before surgery!!!!
