Goofy WOW moment for me today!

Hi all, yes, I'm up late, I had to get some laundry done that I forgot to start earlier oops. Anyway... today at work, I went to the ladies room (no that's not the wow) and someone else was in the handicapped stall, so I went and used the "skinny" stall and there was room on either side of me!!! I couldn't believe it, I wasn't cramped in there with hips touching the walls on either side of me and didn't have to contort over the toilet to open the door!!! I enjoyed the experience so much that the rest of the day I kept using the regular stall because I could and it was roomy for a change, how awesome is that? Okay, I know, I'm weird, odd, strange, demented.... but I'm happy as can be under the cir****tances (bf broke up with me after almost 2 years together because he suddenly didn't "love me like that anymore")... I really needed the pick me up of the bathroom stall... now, if I can get to be down 80 lbs by my birthday weekend I'll be thrilled! I'm doing great, I can't believe it either. I am soooooo looking forward to hitting the century mark already, never thought I'd be looking to that point after only 3 months though!!! HUGS to everyone... and anyone who wishes to come help with the moving in January, please PLEASE let me know so I can keep you posted... I need all the help I can get! Rachel

Hi Rachel and congratulations. I don't think it is goofy at all for you to be so excited. That is actually on my list of things to look forward too after my WLS. I can't wait to be able to use a normal bathroom again. I hate having to use the handicap one. I always feel like people are looking at me and saying look at her she is too fat to use the regular stall, she has to use the handicap one. Keep up the good work. Deanna

Rach that's great! I can totally relate. My top 2 things that I wanted to be able to do when I lost some weight was 1) wipe my a$$ and 2) tie my shoes!LOL Just think, these WOW moments will be coming more often for you now. Just wait till you put on your first pair of jeans that are in the "teens". I cried! Don't tear yourself up over Frank. I only met him that one time and he didn't impress me much. Seemed kinda wishy-washy to me. You're way better off without him. Work on yourself. This is YOUR time. When you feel truly good about yourself and the life you're leading, then you will be ready to share it with someone who truly deserves you.

Rachel, I have to agree that is not silly at all. I am so used to using the handicap bathrooms myself. I can use the smaller stalls now but am so use to using the larger ones. My problem was getting up from the shorter toilets and in such a small area. My legs are so much stronger and I can accomplish this in any stall now. I thing this is on everyone's WOW MOMENT LIST !!!! Here's to many more WOW MOMENTS to come. You are thinking skinny by using the smaller stall. See you lighter. Joanne
