How will you be a success?
What a loaded question huh? We all want to suceed with many things in our lives such as....family, weight loss, work...we want to do it all and do it well. So are you a success? If so what were the steps that got you to that point. Sometimes its the little things that are overlooked by us that really help to make the true success story. So tell me what are some of the little things that you are doing to make your personal success story. I of course will go first....
My family success is keeping things fresh and open in our relationship. We have a lot of fun as a couple.
My weight loss success is listening to cues, not acting on negative cues, learning to exercise the legs vs the mouth (not the verbal stuff but the eating stuff), and enjoying what I can do now!
Lets say that the work success is underconstruction right now. We are trying to find the good things there. I know they are there....I just have to find them!
Well guys its off to the dungeon. I can say that it will be nice to be a short week. Although that could be a curse as well. I got to start shopping soon. One gift down....many more to go!
Debbie
Oh Debbie, I love how you make us think????? Well, lets see, I think it all stems off of having wls, because since surgery I am happier healthier, and have alot more energy, so that makes my family happier that I am always happy, and I get this alot, they tell me I am smiling 24/7. My kids are growing fast and I missed alot because of my weight, and now I am trying to play catch up. For instance, I require a family sit down dinner at least once a week! I talk to my kids everyday and find out how they are doing and what is going on in their lives. And being teenagers, it's not always easy to get it out of them. I talk more with my husband we actually enjoy each other now! Before, I would go to work come home and go to bed sleep for a while fix dinner clean up and go back to bed. Now I play games, watch DVD's, we exercise at the Y, (the whole family). Work is the same, I have more energy, I have always loved the job I do, and I love it even more now. I make some people sick because I am always smiling and happy!!! What can I say, Life is good!!!!!
Take care,
Dana
