Hello Everyone, nothing exciting here. I am at work today, yesterday I had to call in sick since my son was up all night long with the stomach flu. Had to make sure my baby was fine. It is so funny how when he is healthy he doesn't want/need his mommy, but the minute he is sick he is laying on the couch with me with his head on my lap wanting his mommy. I guess you are never to old to want your mommy. Nothing exciting planned for this weekend though. I am going to the Vetern's cemetary tomorrow to visit my dad's grave for the holiday. I wish I had a turkey neck to take to him....lol, that was always his favorite. This is our 2nd without him and it still sucks. This was his favorite holiday and for the first time in 37 years my entire family won't be together because of a little sister that is mad at the entire family. My dad would be so upset with her too. Oh a better note this is my last Thanksgiving as a pre op WLS person. This makes me so excited. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Deanna

Hi Bonnie, I am so glad that you are posting, but remember to take it easy, don't overdue it. I went to walmart to pick up the last bit of my Thanksgiving day stuff. Then spent time with my boys. Gosh, I love them so much. I also saw Dianne Davis-Lopez (so you all know which Dianne) at Walmart, she looks good. I love her hair by the way, I think it gives her a wonderful new look. So later I will be cooking chili for dinner, and that is about all. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Christie

Hi Everyone............... Hope your weekend is going well. As for me, I have been pretty busy. I took a 1/2 day off from work and did a little Christmas shopping. Friday night I had my mother and mother in law for dinner. Then my daughter went out, so I had the baby the rest of the night. I had the baby for a little while this morning, then I went out for lunch and did some more shopping. That's my day so far. I have a question that maybe someone will be able to answer. I KNOW I'm not getting enough protein, and I was wondering about my scalp. Since the hair loss I can actually see scalp in some places. My question....is anyone else's scalp red and tender?? And do you think it's from the lack of protein?? Thanks Bonnie S.

Checking to see if you got your ration of water in yet????? You are running out of time! You don't want to end up in hospital again right? It was nice to see you today! Good meeting! Nice to see everyone too! I went and picked up my curtains for the new door...Burgandy....Merlot floor and hot chocolate rails. Yes I am still keeping with the drinking theme! Figured out what I am getting hubby for Christmas....Its a portrait of me. I found a cute dress and my appt with photographer is next Saturday and I should be able to have something for him by Christmas. I am thinking I want to do an oil.....An original me! Now anyone seeing hubby at meetings can't tell him...Its a secret okay! Its funny because everytime I ask him what he wants for Christmas he says me.....Well I am giving him me! LOL. Ran into old hairdresser and she didn't recognize me. It was a weird thing...just when you think you fit in you get the look of who are you....If Tim was not with me she would have not known me. I didn't know how to take it. I know its good but its hard to imagine I look that different. After all I am still the same Debbie I was at 425. Off to clean house....some days I wish I had a Hazel here!

HI MOM!!! My day was pretty good, the kids and I went bowling this morning, then we went to pick up my meds and they picked out picture frames to put pictures in for Daddy for Christmas. Then we went and got all three of them haircuts (they were lookin scruffy) then I took them to see the apartment complex we're moving into and they LOVED it, it was so cute "this is the girls room, this is the boy room, this is the mommy room, this is mommy's extra closet that she's giving us to use (yeah right), WE HAVE A KITCHEN WITH A CLOSET!" and my favorite "There are closets everywhere Mommy!" lol it was a blast! Then we walked through the complex and saw the pool, walked to the courtyard that made me feel as though I was home and the kids started running and playing as though it was wonderful... they loved it, I was soooo happy! They loved it so much they asked if we could move tomorrow (bless their hearts). Then I took them to McDonalds for lunch (I had a double cheese burger hold the bun) and then finally naptime around 2:30... but no one really napped so we all cuddled after dinner and then went to bed instantly when I put them down tonight. It was a treat for me, I wore them out so completely they WANTED to go to bed. And they want to move ot the apartment... what a good feeling to know I picked something that they like AND I like!
