Read this on the OH site. Enjoy the Holiday. Don't pig out. ((HUGS)) Elissa This Thanksgiving and Christmas, when faced with foods we really shouldn't eat...sweet potato casserole, grandma's stuffing or the desserts calling our name...try to focus on the three bite rule to get through the holiday. The First Bite is to get a good taste. The Second Bite is to verify it was as good as we thought it would be. The Third Bite is the LAST BITE, so savour it.

Elissa, I really like the way they explain the 3 bite rule. I am having my first support group in Harrington on November 23rd at Harrington Volunteer Fire House. I will make sure I mention this rule. See you lighter. Joanne

Sounds like what I did this past weekend (felt sooooo guilty too) Three bites of carrot cake... felt like I was going to undo everything in those three bites, but it really left me feeling good that I didn't overindulge while having just enough to savor the goodness and not feel I'm denying myself something wonderful. It really does help, one bite, not enough, 2, too few for some things, but 3 was a perfect amount... keep in mind the bites also need to be SMALLER now than they were before LOL HUGS Rachel
