Where do you go from here....

Your journey starts out with many roads and some you are sure you want to take and others you choose not to go down the path. Is there a path in this journey that you wish you would have taken? Me....I wish I opened up more about things instead of making myself miserable. Sharing the pain and success is better than I imagined. I have gone done this path but at a very slow rate. I guess some of us stop to smell the roses too much! LOL. I don't think there are any roads that I closed off. There are roads under construction. Especially the eating road....I think that will always be improving some way or another and the pit holes that come from my bad habits appear out of no where need to be repaired. You need to know the pit holes are there right! I do have a repair crew waiting in the wings to help! So what are your roads like? Debbie

Hi Debbie, I don't think I would do anything differently, so far my journey has been wonderful, I was very open with family and friends and co-workers before surgery, I shared with anyone, exept some of my husband's family was a little cold with me when I told them what I was going to do, so I just didn't mention anything to them, and after surgery his family didn't know I was having surgery, they were upset with my husband for not telling them, and he told them that I tried to but, they acted like they didn't want to talk about it. I realized later they were just scared for me. I look at this journey as a giant gift that is slowly unwraped everyday! I am still unwrapping!!! But I love what is revealed so far!!!! HELLO DEBBIE SWEETIE,WELL LET ME SAY THIS HOW MY JOURNEY STARTED OFF (GREAT THEN AFTER MY 3RD MONTH EVERYTHING SEEM TO GO DOWN HILL AND I WAS IN AND OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND YES THERE WERE DAYS I ASKED MYSELF DID I DO THE RIGHT THING TO HAVE THIS SURGERY.WELL YES I AM GLAD I HAD THIS SURGERY AND I AM SO HAPPY TO LOSE 120 POUNDS BEFORE AND AFTER SURGERY.THIS IS JUST SEVERAL SPEED BUMPS IN THE ROAD WOW THEY NEED TO GET IT FIXED LOL.WELL I CAN TRUELY SAY DR.IRGUA AND DR.WYNN AND DR.PETERS HAVE BEEN THERE BY MY SIDE AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T BRING ME THIS FAR JUST TO LEAVE ME OUT THERE BY MYSELF.THEY TRUELY HAVE KEPT THERE WORD WHAT SUPER DOCTORS.I ALSO KNOW AND REALIZE IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR ME TO GAIN MY STRENGTH BACK BUT I AM WILLING TO DO IT.I ALSO KNOW THROUGH MY JOURNEY MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN THERE ALL THE WAY AND I KNOW SHE WORRIED ABOUT ME BUT ME AS A MOM I WORRIED ABOUT HER AND I TOLD HER TO TAKE CARE OF HER SELF AND I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE IS MOMMY'S LIL ANGEL VIC.AND ALSO THROUGH MY ROUGH JOURNEY ALL MY WLS FAMILY HAS BEEN HERE FOR ME SENDING PRAYERS AND LOVE AND SUPPORT.ALL THIS IS WHAT HELPED MY KEEP GOING THANK YOU VICKIE AND EVERYONE,YOU ALL MEAN SO MUCH TO ME.LOVE BONNIE
