Surgery Scheduled for 11/14-Insurance has Denied!

Well my surgery was/is scheduled for Monday and I got a call from the doctors office yesterday telling me that Insurance has denied! My doctors office was shocked. They said I had more detailed records then most that are approved. The doctor has placed a call to speak to the doctor on the review board. I had submitted the following: Notes from doctor showing that I tried Meridia. Almost 3 years of Nutri-system receipts (plus doctors notes showing loss and regain of weight) Letter from my gym showing I have been an active member since 1998 (including weigh-ins) Wish me luck that the doctor gets me approved before Friday! I need to fast for 2 days before Mondays surgery. (If I don't have to cancel) : (

HI Tammy, I will be keeping your in prayers. Even if you don't get the approved until the last minute. Just know that my prayers are with you. Remember don't get discouraged because then we tend to give up. Instead keep your head up high. Christie
