The coming storm...

Wanted to let you know of a trend that is being set with many corporate health insurance plans. Computer Science Corp. who use Aetna as their primary insurance has adopted the following policy regarding WLS starting in 2006: "Bariatric surgery (for obesity) benefit will now be subject to a 50% coinsurance, with a specific limit of $10,000." Many other large corporations are zeroing in on the surgical cost of bariatric surgery as a way to cut costs. Ouch!!!
