Update on Job Interview....

OH I really want this one. I loved everything about it. Its a specific project I would be assigned to and track deadlines and make submittals. Very nice Company benefits and another plus is its working with scientists! Something else I can learn! They will be interviewing about 7 more people...I guess I was one of the first! YUCK! Then they will be calling back for second interview to meet the team you would be working with to be sure there was a match. I left feeling really positive about it. I met the person who had the job before the last candidate.....He was promoted to a Project Manager! WOW I can move up too! Lots of potential. I have to fill out application and mail it back to them. Gosh I hope I get a chance to come back for the second round. I really really want this! Its what I love to do and deadlines are us! LOL Thank you everyone for supporting me.......I will keep you posted on my progress. PS. My voice is officially gone.....I talked too much in the interview. Nervous I guess. At least my voice held up to the very end! LOL

Debbie, I hope things turn out for you. There are soo many oppurtunities out there. If not this one then another will come along even better. Course I know how anxious you are to get out of Dodge. Try to stay positive and focused. A good answer if they ask you where you want to be in 5 yrs is " to have you tell everyone it was you that hired me proudly." A good hire is something to be proud of and hard to realize. A bad hire is easy. Drink plenty of warm tea or cocoa. Maybe a little honey for the throat?? I am the champion of larangistis. I used to get it a couple times a year and it'd last as long as 3 months. Course I never stopped smoking & talking. Thank God since I quit smoking it slowed up tremendously. Dee, Gotta uncross them for a little while...they are making up a second interview list with the team in about two weeks.....Uncross them this week but cross them around Thanksgiving timeframe since that is when they should be done with all their other interviews. I am a little bummed because it sounds like I was first on the list. I really hope to get called in for second round. Thanks everyone for your support!!! Debbie

Not sure yet. Still trying to get Chelsea's dad to take an extra night tonight for me. He's usually pretty good about switching visitation days when needed, which is why I never give him a hard time when he needs to switch with me.
