To all of you who wished me luck - thanks. It helped knowing there are others out there who will be thinking of me. Does anyone know how long it takes the insurance companies to OK the surgery. My final clearance is on Tuesday and surgery is scheduled for Monday. Will this fly? Donna

Donna, I had Surgery April 5,2005. I did not get my o****il April 4th. The Dr's office called me onThursday and said they had not got insurance approval yet and was trying to get someone to switch dates with me. Then they called back on Monday and said all was approved and surgery was a go for the next day. It was all obout paperwork for me. I think all will work out. Do your part and leave the rest up to the Dr's office. I will be praying that all works out for you. Good luck! This is a journey that you will not regret taking. See you lighter. Joanne

Hi Donna, the crazy part about my surgery was nothing was even said about my clearance. I went ahead with my surgery and about a week after my surgery I got the letter in the mail saying that I had been approved and could go ahead and schedule. So I would say everyone is different. Christie
